Congratulations to the Maplewood Democratic Committee’s new First Vice Chair and Treasurer!

On April 17, 2025, the Maplewood Democratic Committee voted in a new First Vice Chair and a new Treasurer. Former Treasurer Michele Alonso has replaced Rebecca Scheer as the First Vice Chairperson and Sean Ruffin has replaced Michele Alonso as Treasurer. Michele Alonso has been a district leader for the past three years for District 5 and served as Treasurer for less than a year. Sean Ruffin has been a District Leader for District 13 for a little over a year and is a new addition to the Executive Committee. The rest of The Executive Committee remains the same- Ian Grodman as Chair, John Sullivan as Second Vice Chair, Kathy Leventhal as Corresponding Secretary, India Larrier as Recording Secretary and Shannon Cuttle as Member at Large. The MDC is also happy to announce that Kate Reilly, District Leader for District 4 will lead the Get Out The Vote Initiative.
